| User ReviewCade HSlightly Single in LA had its moments but it didn't add up to a great film. The numerous characters featured were all good, they all brought a little something to the table but nobody was a stand out star. The concept was simple, a girl likes a rock star guy, but is afraid to pursue him and things go from there. The plot just seemed to flow along at the same pace the entire time and even though it was 88 minutes long, it seemed to last for hours. The romance between the 2 main characters never seemed that strong and even with the "expected" ending, the love just never seemed real. There were a few laughs here and there but the dialogue got lame at times and some scenes were very boring. The characters just never seemed believable because of some of the dumb choices they made and that really took away from the whole feel of the film. This is just a very average film with a good cast but it can easily be skipped over. |
