Los Angeles Times - 6/10 by Kevin ThomasSlaughter High, which benefits greatly from its authentic setting, a big, old derelict Tudor-style school building in a remote area, gets actually quite scary, yet its grisly special effects are of the darkly comic, Grand Guignol variety. There's a trite coda that the film could have done without, but even so, Slaughter High (appropriately rated R) is effective schlock.

When a prank goes horribly wrong~ a group of misfit teens watch the school nerd (marty feldmen) suffer in pain. The results- no so pretty- caused to disfigure him. Ten years later- the responsible teenagers are invited to a high school reunion held at their old high school~ now run down and abandoned. Out pops the drinks, the jokes and the blood from a gut of acid beer and I guess you could figure out the rest. Its a fun flick and worth the while. rare and hard to find be sure to get the new uncut dvd thats just come out now. For murder- marty gets ten out of ten!

User Review - 10/10 by Dylan Si'm not sure how to rate this movie. in terms of quality, this movie is abysmal, god-awful, horrid, rancid, etc. there's one point where a boom mic is visible and in an impaling scene the body is so obviously rather poor grade rubber that it's insulting...almost. everything above plus stinky cheese dialogue make this absolutely the best bad horror movie ever made. trey, you know what i'm talking 'bout. EDIT - it's recently been brought to my attention that this film contains some unsurpassed "bad" horror movie material. that made me think, each film ought to be judged for what it is. i wouldn't judge an action movie by drama standards, so why judge a "bad" horror movie by any other standards but it's own. as such, i'm changing my review because as "bad" horror movies go - this one is the freakin' gold standard. i hereby award this movie 40 stars.
User Review - 10/10 by Matt BThis movie is really great! It's about Marty. See, they all look at his wiener in the shower. On his birthday. And it sucks for him. But then they also give him exploding cigarettes. Which makes acid fall all over him. So he gets a reunion together and OH MY GOODNESS!!! Some dudes tummy explodes. And also this guy gets lawnmowered. If you like movies that are great you have probably seen this already!
