User ReviewBrad Si loves this movie it was very awesome and the boys picked for the hockey players fit the part and were greay
User ReviewBrendon RI thought this movie was funny really liked it
User ReviewBrent DIt is hard to live up to the legendary first movie in the Slap Shot-series. This one was better than the second one but still not much to call home about. The Hanson brothers are always a delight to watch. As far as story goes it is very straight forward and easy to guess the next move. But there is always something nice about the underdog story that never really gets old.
User ReviewCheryl ONot as good as the original, or even the second Slap Shot... An okay plot, but, weak acting and lack of character development... Messier was interesting, but Gilmour needs to work on his acting...lol! Do not own but would watch again.
User ReviewBrian WI'll give it 3 stars just because I love the original so much, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before, underdog team fights to win against spoiled rich kids with The Hanson Brothers as the underdogs coachs and special appearances from Doug Gilmour and Mark Messier. Also special mention to Leslie Nielsen who plays the mayor of Charlestown in a very small role.
User ReviewDean MIt's alike The Mighty Ducks series as well as the Hanson brothers are back - COOL! Too bad they weren't playing ice-hockey to make them return to their old times like kicking some serious puck, but one of their sons only played for them in the junior league. Quite good sport comedy of the prequel Slap Shot movie.
User ReviewErik MThis is SLAP SHOT not High School! Wheres the shock humor or gross out or even the language. Its alright though has some humor.
User ReviewTodd PI like hockey and movies where the underdog wins, but these slap shot movies are getting rediculous. Still didn't mind it for the most part, better then the second one. The original is a classic hockey movie and should've never been touched again. Leave good movies alone by not trying to recreate another one.
User ReviewIan CUne sorte de mélange du Slap Shot original et de tout les autres films de sport typique. Pas bon, mais pas mauvais non plus !
User ReviewJuuso RThis is a solid comedy, though nothing spectacular, it would probably only appeal to hockey fans. It stars Leslie Neilsen and of course the Hanson brothers, and is a good laugh if you are a fan of the "finer" side of hockey. Of course it's nowhere near as good as the original Slap Shot as that is the best sporting movie ever created and first introduced the Hanson brothers and their fantastic antics to movie goers everywhere. This one doesn't have the amount of rough stuff that the original did but is still worth a watch. The cameos by Doug Gilmour and Mark Messier are the icing on the cake. Not a must see, but worth a rent if you've got nothing else to watch.
