Burt Simpson (Dabney Coleman) is nearing retirement and he finds that he has a disease that will kill him within days. | User ReviewStephen CCracking comedy cop movie with a brilliant performance from Dabney Coleman as Burt a cop who is mistakenly told he is going to die and finds out the only way his family will get a pay out is if he is kkilled on the job. Sounds simple right? Wronmg what follws is very very funny as Burt tries to get killed by Bombs and in the films setpiece a fantastic car chase. Coleman plays the uptight Burt very straight leaving the Excellent Matt Frewer to have the funniest lines as Burts toatlly bemused partner. How on earth theis film has become a liitle lost is beyond me i loved every second of it after Coleman decides he is going to get killed . Yes its a litle soppy in places ,but who cares about soppy when your having this much fun seek this film out i guarantee you will love it |

There's also a sick chase scene during a time when car chase scenes were apart of almost every movie. Cop movies may not be your thing but this one will definitely bring out a few laughs. |
