There are many scenes and Johnny Five has to deal with people who take advantage of him for being naive. He even ends up breaking into a vault but realizes his wrong doings and saves the day. This movie is actually really good.

User Review - 10/10 by Sally HOhhh I love this film. Johnny 5 is the Wall-E of the 80s, but with bags more character and infinitely funnier than Wall-E. Who could fail to like Ben with his undeniably naive outlook on the world or Johnny 5 and his gutsy efforts to fit in??!! Brilliant!!!
User Review - 10/10 by Andreas Swithout a doubt the best film I have ever seen. there is not one aspect of the human experience that isn't explored in this masterpiece of understatment. The cold steel of a machine designed to kill, warmed by platonic love of a fleshy meatbag... so beautiful. pretty much everything I know about being a good human I leaned from this 'tin man' for a new millenium. Short Circuit 1 is a horrible embarrasment however and made me hate Steve Guttenburg, a crime that will never be forgiven.

User Review - 10/10 by Tim Fi find the story a bit better than the first, the play more arround the human aspects of johnny 5 and more spectacular things happen, the big city for example! Sadly its Fisher who playes the main part now, lukely his voice is an inch better!Steve and GW are out but we get a good Micheal mckean instead. Very cool movie, again kudos to the magnificant robot! Classic!
User Review - 10/10 by Vince KI really didn't realize this when I was a kid, but while Short Circuit 2 is a sweet and touching melodrama, it's also a social commentary on an outcast's struggle for equal rights. Johnny #5 explores the great city of New York with a kind of wide-eyed innocence, only to be hurt, rejected, and lied to at every turn. And when the thugs are killing him, chopping him to pieces with an axe while he pleads "Noooo!! No disassemble! You're killing me! I don't to want to die!" - well, if that doesn't pull on your heartstrings than you must be made of stone. He barely gets fixed up by Michael McKean just in time to catch the story's villains, in what is a great final chase scene set to the song Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler. He catches the villain in the end, but sadly has used the last of his energy and dies, while I was choking on tears. All Johnny #5 ever wanted was to be accepted by society, to be loved and make friends. And society chewed him up and spit him out. Fuck you, New York City, fuck you.
