Movie Reviews

Variety - 7/10 by Geoff BerkshireEschews hysteria, preachiness and self-importance in favor of calm, persuasive scientific arguments.
Village Voice - 7/10 by Daphne HowlandThis is a sober look at how seaboards are vulnerable to a rise in ocean levels, made worse by storms and massively worse by massive storms.
The New York Times - 6/10 by Neil GenzlingerThe problems are clearly explained, though the film doesn’t have solutions any more than public officials do, since shoreline development is already a fact of life.
User Review - 10/10 by Mary CThis was an excellent documentary about coastal erosion and sea level rise in New Jersey and North Carolina. Very well made. It draws attention to the ridiculous amount of federal dollars being used to shore up the seaside homes of the wealthy, while middle class / working class areas that are not similarly protected are destroyed.
User Review - 8/10 by James PMoves a little slower than necessary but still a good movie and worth the watch.
