Tangsan is a doctor living in the poverty stricken area of Shanghai. All the poor people come to him for help because of his kindness. But soon, the Axe Gang enters the picture, and they're ploting to destroy the town so they can build their own casino. Tangsan naturally gets involved, and starts an ongoing rivalry with the gang. But the gang leader's sister meets Tangsan one day, and they begin to have feelings for one another which complicates matters even more.... (Full plot summary below)

| User ReviewSteve WSolid fight scenes does not improve the overall story. It's very cliched, and it begins to fall apart at the end when not enough conflict is introduced. Some nice action bits aside, a very low key and basic movie. |
