User ReviewIoannis SThis is a documentary originally just shot as a school project, but it turned out so darn good it became way more than that. Yulene interviews her grandmother, Rosa, a beautiful old lady who lives in New Mexico and owns a big house that she used to rent out to people. The main subject of the interview is one of these people, a guy named Jorge that died 15 years ago. The two of them became very close during the five years he lived there and she is cooking over with stories to tell thinking back. You get to see lots of Jorge's artwork, poems, drawings, and some recordings she made of him. The movie starts very pure and bright, painting this dead guy into a saint from everything she and her maid has to say of him, but then suddenly it twists and turns in another direction. This story was so fascinating and sad but Rosa and Jorge somehow made it sparkle, it's really a must see, following her around in that big dark house with secrets peeking out at us from all of the corners. The documentary/interview shows just how life actually can be quite mysterious, dark, sad and sparkling at the same time.
User ReviewJorge PInteresante y diferente.
