Cliff Spab is a guy who doesn't really care about anything. He gets held hostage at a store for 36 days by terrorists, who demand that the entire thing be broadcast on national television. Cliff ends up taking a bullet for fellow hostage Wendy - making him a national hero. The two are the sole survivors of the ordeal, and soon become prisoners of the media. Cliff escapes it all, only to find himself being pushed further away from Wendy when he needs her most.... (Full plot summary below)

| User ReviewNick ROne of my favorites. The first time I saw this movie (A long, long time ago) I had no idea what it was going to be about and it fuggin' rocked. I managed to get most of it recorded on VHS Tape. (I told you it was long ago) As fate would have it, I found it on DVD in Big Lots for $3. That made my month. I haven't seen it in so long. I can't wait to watch it again. |

| User ReviewDana BPeople who hate this movie should die. This is my favorite movie of all time, hands down. It's funny, it's smart, it's entertaining, and the best satire I have seen of Fame. If you do not love this movie then you should know I hate the shifty movies you like such as The Hangover and the Twilight series. Almost every review I have seen for this movie is negative; know your place bitches, this is the film you just can't fuck with. |
