Apollo GuideDan JardineDespite some interesting individual moments, when taken as a whole, Seven Thieves is an uneven and (most damning) an uneventful mess.
User ReviewAdam Da good crime noir film with good jazz music, dance routines by joan Collins and a twist ending
User ReviewAshley HGood acting highlights crime caper drama--Steller performances by Steiger, Wallach and Robinson!!
User ReviewCarmela "So the film redeems itself towards the end, this 1960s version of Ocean's Eleven. After a provocative start, it ends with a moral highlight that had been deftly alluded to from the beginning. It even gets deeper and almost tear-jerking. What a twist!
User ReviewDave JFriday, November 5, 2010 (1960)Seven Thieves ADVENTURE/ COMEDY/ DRAMA Another one of those carefully planned casino heists films with an amazing cast such as Edward G. Robinson, Rod Steiger, Joan Collins and Eli Wallach. The movie was wel made until the forced 'do the right thing' ending because producers don't want to condone robberies despite how chrismatic and likable the robbers are! If their is any reason to watch this, it is for the heist and the comrade itself, nothing else! 2.5 out of 4
User ReviewGregory Wgood heist/crime caper movie amazing cast
User ReviewFascade FDisappointed that it was in B&W...but the adventure was true to form. Continuous reminder of the Ocean's 11, 12 and 13 series with George Clooney and company...but a good flick. Edward G. Robinson can sell snake oil to a shoe salesman in this timeless classic...seeeee?....((LMAO!)) Joan Collins was so loyal as a team player in this one! Rod Steiger was as tough as nails as being the "ONE VOICE" in this operation...yeah I got into this flick...that my wife "accidentally" picked ...that turned out to be pretty good...check it out if you have the patience for it...
