Seijun Suzuki was the great innovator of Japanese cinema in the 60s. Extremely creative and eccentric, his narrative world is strongly influenced by kabuki theater. This documentary crosses the testimony of Suzuki himself with that of his collaborator and close friend, the artistic director Takeo Kimura.
