User ReviewGeorge LThis movie was brilliant, and absolutely hilarious. Probably the funniest thing I've seen since Blades of Glory.
User ReviewVincenzo PBrilliant movie. Any aspiring filmmaker must watch this movie.
User ReviewPrivate UI only saw it because my roomie rented it and John Cho was in it. It was... yeah. It started off well and then went dooooown.
User ReviewHolley RI watched this movie for the first time on an airplane. I couldn't stop laughing. Although Seth Meyer's character annoyed me in some points, it's wasn't that bad.
User ReviewJames HTough movie to rate, it is very funny at times, also quirky. I liked it, but have reservations. Sort of a mockumentary. Uneven. Held my interest.
User ReviewAj SA pretty funny independent film. I liked the way this movie was filmed, very old school.
User ReviewJames FThis movie had a great premise, but that's about all it had going for it. This is a mockumentary by that new guy from Saturday Night Live and that Asian guy from American Pie. It's about some horrible filmmakers that are trying to make a movie and get it into a film festival. The acting and story are kind of weak. The dialogue is actually not bad with a lot of good jokes thrown in there, but it feels like they're too far apart to really carry the film like they should. All in all, I ended up watching this and not feeling sorry for the main character, but instead just wanting his friends to finally beat him up because he's that much of a jerk.
User ReviewHilary CUnique and pretty entertaining. However, something about it (the camerawork? - I forget) made me feel SERIOUSLY out of it. The next day, I could hardly remember a thing, amusing though it had been.
User ReviewPeter OI'm trying to watch this but it's so slow and boring the sh** out of me! Maybe if it were in French.
User Reviewmike dIf you are into independent films and the process and the festivals do just what the title suggests. If not, rent something else. This movie is about a filmmaker that cons his way into a film festival without a movie. It stars Seth Meyers as the confused, lying filmmaker and John Cho as his friend and producer. It was entertaining. It wasn?t a great movie, but it held my attention for the whole time. My favorite part was when his female lead in his movie decides to leave the film business to sell drugs. Better a pusher than an actress. It made me laugh.
