VarietyJohn AndersonYes, plenty of things fly at your face, but they're not the only things worthy of interest.
Sacramento BeeCarla MeyerOn an entertainment level, this film is a surefire treat for the armchair paleontologist and child alike. It also has the look and feel of a project that was meticulously researched, as befits most National Geographic projects.
Orlando SentinelRoger MooreThis blend of computer-animation and live actors-as-paleontologists recreations makes for an educating and kid-pleasing trip back to the age of the dinosaurs.
Film Journal InternationalDaniel EaganDestined to be a staple of the large-format repertoire.
Sacramento News & ReviewJim Lane...what it may lack in visual texture is made up for by the nifty 3-D effects.
User ReviewRichard DSea Monsters is short on time at forty minutes, but it's long on entertainment. Utilizing the breathtaking "Real D" 3D technology and photo-realistic CGI recreations of sea-dwelling dinosaurs, Sea Monsters is an absolute thrill to behold as it transports us back in time. The film may be intended as a science lesson, but theatergoers probably won't hear the narration over the sound of their own oohing and aahing. Tons of fun, and one of the biggest pleasures I've had in a theater in a long time.
User ReviewOctavianThis movie is a walking with dinosaurs trilogy i watched all of walking with monster, walking with dinosaurs and walking with prehistoric beasts there was a live play at rogers arena about walking with dinosaurs.I think this movie might have used animatronics for prehistoric animals.
User ReviewKendall IGreat documentary with unbelievable animation and fossilized info to back it up! People wanted to see this in 3D. THAT would've been scary. Overall, awesome.
