EmanuelLevy.ComEmanuel LevyThis romnatic melodrama, the second teaming of Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, is not as good as For Whom the Bell Tolls, but it's mildly enjoyable and Oscar nominated Flora Robson steals every scene.
User ReviewChristopher BBergman is delicious as a willfully naughty woman; Cooper is her near equal. The script creates a perfect balance between youthful melodrama and the yearning for honest love. A solid film, with a powerful 30 ton crash to boot!
User ReviewTheresa PBeautiful leading lady, beautiful leading man, gorgeous costuming, happy ending...what more could one want on a lazy Sunday afternoon except possibly a glass of wine and bowl of popcorn to go with.
User ReviewAshley HSaratoga Trunk is an amazing film. The costumes are lovely. The sets are also beautiful. Ingrid Bergman and Gary Cooper give incredible performances. The screenplay is well written and witty. Sam Wood did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the drama and romance. Saratoga Trunk is a must see.
