User ReviewAzly Jdude. how is eric bana so bad in the other boleyn girl and so awesome here? ::sigh:: but really great movie. however, seeing this and home song stories, i'm starting to wonder if there are a lot of gorgeous, somewhat skanky, but suicidal and stuck-in-the-middle-of-nowhere single mom's in Australia or something. huh.
User ReviewSabrina MThis movie was very touching, the young boy (son) has such great insight to humanity and his love for his family carries him through the hard times. The father is nothing more than an amazing man, his devotion, passion, and strength superseed most. A great movie I thought.
User ReviewÇi?dem Tit is a touching film, which astonished me much more than i expected.
User ReviewStacy CBased on the memoirs of Raimond Gaita this tale shows of the deep morals his father had and Raimond's ever absent mother. Through everything this boy had to face and deal with in his young life, he came to be an educated and successful man. This is a powerful and emotional film, perhaps a little slow-moving but brilliantly portrayed nonetheless. I thought Eric Bana was excellent as was the young Kodi Smit-Mcphee.
