Leave your thoughts about Roger Waters: The Wall.
Consequence of SoundPhilip CosoresRoger Waters The Wall ends up being just another brick in the source material's audacious history, of which Waters should be trusted to continue finding success at telling.
The Herald (Scotland)Alison RowatFor fans, add a star. For those who cannot bear Another Brick in the Wall - we don't need no educashun refrain et al - take a star off.
GuardianMike McCahillA concert movie where the considerable pyrotechnics gathered never quite obscure the fully functioning conscience centre stage.
Times (UK)Kate MuirThis is not merely bravura stadium prog-rock for Pink Floyd fans, but a curious home road movie.
User ReviewCraig FFantastic. I've always been a Pink Floyd fan as well as a Roger Waters fan.The stage show is amazing and perfectly augments the music. It's like a home movie with a concert thrown in. I was impressed.
User ReviewDennis DBest version of The Wall I have seen. Better than the movies in some ways. Like the documentary parts also. Made it very personal...
User ReviewNolan SFilled with amazing concert footage and additional footage that shows what goes through Waters's mind and personal life, Roger Waters The Wall has to be, in my opinion, the best concert film ever made!
User ReviewGrant FThe additional footage provided a real insight into the meaning of the music. Great movie.
User Reviewjett lAfter seeing Roger Waters perform "The Wall" twice in concert, I knew I had to see the movie as well. Not only is this rock opera ever relevant in today's world, but the amazing (and I mean AMAZING) stage projection and the entire grand performance is nothing short of EPIC. In this movie, not only do you get to hear that amazing Pink Floyd sound, you see the entire concert as well as Waters' own personal road trip to visit his father's grave.
User ReviewDale Ran honest insight to waters feelings about his father he never really knew due to him getting killed in WW2 when it comes to the music &visuals of the stage show, well it's stunning. it will make you cry, sing & play air guitar! it's as fantastic & thought provoking now as it was over 20 years ago. on a technical point the picture & sound quality is absolutely breathtaking, one of the best I have seen/heard in a cinema. roll on the blu ray.
