The film documents Jay's journey from the bottom - playing in Sunday park leagues and lower level division London clubs earning 40 pounds a week - to playing in the English Premier League - to starting in the world's greatest sports stage - the 2010 World Cup. The Jay DeMerit Story is a story of perseverance, hard work and a relentless belief in a dream...it is a story that needs to be told.

I'm really glad Nick and Ranko and the rest of the R&S team were able to get this movie made and to get Jay's story out there. I hope this movie and Jay's story serves as an inspiration for all kids out there that determination, hard work, never giving up, and a dream will get you very far in life in anything that you do.
