User Review - 10/10 by John YGreat short film from the great short story by Rudyard Kipling.
User Review - 10/10 by Tarek Athis is a classic movie that would still be liked by children today.
User Review - 10/10 by Chris MIt was a very enjoyable, very artistic and very special animated television special. It had very great animation, really great narration, really great characters, really great music, great drama, great adventure, really colorful backgrounds, and a great story. It's one of the best Chuck Jones specials of the 70s. I've seen this special on YouTube. I will recommend this special to animation lovers of all ages.
User Review - 8/10 by RB A:) :fresh: :) I was at Rasputin earlier looking for nice cheap movies to add to my collection of nice cheap movies and I happened across this little animated featurette about a courageous little mongoose. You could see the old style of animation, but the story is charming and great. I really think it's a great addition to the stack of movies you'd like your little ones to see when they're a little older. Wonderful.
User Review - 8/10 by Kevin JA nastalgic movie for me, for sure. The snakes' voices always fascinated me as a kid.
User Review - 8/10 by Anne RIt's a classic film short for kids. IT's only 30 minutes long; I think you can spare that much time.
User Review - 8/10 by Betty BThis movie is a great child film, it follows the story almost exactly. I loved all the colors that the filmed showed and the sounds. I liked how the people made Rikki's eyes red when he was hungry, it showed emotion as well. I also liked the speed that the mongoose had throughout.
User Review - 8/10 by Emily URikki-Tikki-Tavi is a very interesting movie. I think the concept of a mongoose as a protaganist is an interesting idea because normally thats not an animal that you would think of as a hero. I think the idea of a mongoose just washing up one day and becoming a hero is a little far fetched but i suppose it makes sense. I think that the idea of a black cobra is a little bit of a over used concept but it did work for this particular movie. All in all this was not a bad movie.
User Review - 8/10 by Tyson JI rate this film a 90 out of 100. I liked this film because it was a animated film and for being as old as it is it is very interesting throughout. My favorite character in this movie is Rikki himself because I like the way he flings into action and when his eyes turn red. The best part in this film is when Rikki first saves the boy from the snake, i found it as a great part and definition of the film.
User Review - 6/10 by Jonathan SI am definitely a fan of both Rudyard Kipling and Chuck Jones, but this adaptation is fairly mediocre.
