User ReviewForest EA wonderful movie. Full of adventure, courage, love, understanding, and a will to live. It is a must see for all ages.
User ReviewRose GI loved it,it was funny, and was pretty good about following the book. I hope they make movies of the rest of the books.
User ReviewNate TA 90 minute version of the classic Brian Jacques novel that spawned a series of books and three seasons of an animated TV show. Tim Curry and Alison Pill's voices stand out. The DVD should be re-released.
User ReviewNatasha Fits attack of the animated mice ub doom! * is slightly hyper*
User ReviewBrian WNot as amazing as the book, yet love stirs within me for this.
User ReviewWanda FI love the book; I love the movie. There is nothing better than Redwall. ;)
User ReviewJiashu XThe animation may be a little low-budget, and a few episodes stray from the book; but overall, the story is well-told, and the heart placed into the making of this legendary novel adaptation is unquestionable.
User ReviewLindsay Wgreat story, crappy animation. i would love to see someone w/ more budget and talent reanimate this story.
User ReviewTodd S1999 Canada/France Director: Raymond Jafelice Score: 8 This feature combines very good animation with a solidly done plot. It is a great venue to bring to life the premier book of the Redwall literary series. The plot is intriguing, entertaining, action filled, suspenseful, and yet still maintains a good balance of simplicity so that child and adult can understand and enjoy it. The animation is detailed and compliments, not only the good plot, but the voice work done by the actors. The soundtrack is effective, though nothing memorable after the viewing is done. Like most films inspired by high fantasy literature, this one was not as grand or detailed as the book itself, but it is indeed an honorable tribute to its source materiel. Notes: HV Suggested Age: 8+
