User Review - 10/10 by Luna Wincredible movie, both in terms of scripts and acting. Full of suspenses and surprises. Georgia is a private investigation agency who works for her dad ("Captain")'s company. She acts strong and independent. 16 years ago, her elder sister Ada committed suicide after being away without returning any of her letters. 16 years later, she received videos taken by Ada about her life when she was away. Mysterious Mr. A seems to be the key to understand the death of Ada. "Quo Vadis, Baby" is what Prof. A said when she knocked into him on her way to meet him for dinner. The same phrase appeared again on the DVD "Last Tango in Paris," a movie Ada and Mr. A like. So here the identity of Mr.A is revealed. Smashing everything, Georgia stormed out. Detective/Inspector told her unexpected news: there were bruises on her sister's back and face. Furious, Georgia rushed to Prof. A's classroom, and told him that he made her sick. Prof. A replied: "there was somebody else in that house." "It was your father." Turning to her dad, Georgia got an answer: her dad tried to bring Ada back home, but Ada laughed at him and wasted, she fell. He left her alone there only to be told later that she hang herself. "Captain" asked for understanding from Georgia. Georgia tried to let things go by throwing away all her sister's belongings, but then received a video recorder and a Friz Long's movie "M" in it from Ada's female lover. Playing it while cooking dinner, Georgia was not quite focused. After receiving another dinner invitation from the inspector, she went out, leaving the DVD on. It kept playing until the end of "M." Then, Ada, Prof. A, showed up on the screen. That was the recording of Ada's last night. "Captain" made his way into the apartment unannounced and kicked out Prof. A. Arguing with Ada, he hit her. She then announced the truth of their mom's death: being hit by their dad because of her lover, she lost balance and fell off balcony. Ada kept it a secret to protect Georgia who was attached to their father. "Captain" stormed out calling Ada crazy. Ada looked at the ceiling (where she hang herself) and turned off the recorder ...
User Review - 8/10 by Private Uoverrated piece of crap. set itself up as a muder movie and turned out to be a crappy italian father-daughter angst job. Waste of time.
User Review - 8/10 by Davy BVisually captivating and cleverly written thriller which makes very good use of lighting and music. Hadn't heard the PFM track since they played Glasgow City Halls in the early 70's and the rest of the soundtrack's also worth an interesting mix - Talking Heads, Ultravox, Paul Weller, etc. Well worth a look.
User Review - 8/10 by Josephine HI have a fondness for this film because i snuck out to see it one afternoon without husband or children, in a cinema off Leicester square. Oh freedom. I like it. I like this film because everyone is guilty, but not for the crimes of which they are accused. Oh dear... did I give away the plot?

User Review - 6/10 by Luca VThis film's narrative probably won't enthrall you, its visuals should. The high contrast lighting is fantastic and some of the devices used, such as a few minutes of Fritz Lang's M on an older tube t.v., are executed to the greatest effect. The problem is, that the story is a little too tame for the visuals deployed. The cinematography matches very well with the main character and her profession, she's a private investigator. However, the tension builds and builds and just when you think it should get very interesting, it never boils over. I loved watching it, but I'm not sure I cared what was happening.
User Review - 4/10 by Emma DDisappointing, just go watch the director's previous film I'm Not Scared, much better.
