User Review - 10/10 by Bryan KI loved revisiting the old SLC crew to see where life has taken them. The new characters were their own, not retreads of something from the 1st film, and even the returning characters had evolved, as people do over time. It was fun, funny and very engaging. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly...
User Review - 8/10 by Pierce GSurprisingly good and warm hearted! It shows deep affection for the culture of punk!
User Review - 8/10 by Lanky Man PA perfect sequel to the original. It's just as amazing as you'd think. It's great to see where some of the characters ended up. It also has a great soundtrack! A must see.
User Review - 8/10 by Joe WIf you're a fan of the original SLC Punk you will enjoy seeing the evolution of some of your favorite characters. If you are a newcomer to the franchise, this sequel provides a captivating standalone story that is in no way diminished by not seeing the first film. It has a wonderful sound track, and amazing performances from both the original cast and newcomers. Hannah Marks is the standout performance in this film. Her portrayal of the young punk Penny was one of the highlights of my viewing experience. This coming-of-age story, set 18 years after the original - which puts it around 2003, is a wonderful Time. I'm sure You will enjoy joining these characters for the young punk odyssey.
User Review - 6/10 by Matt RDecent follow up to one of my favorite films of all time. There's no need for this movie to exist though. It's also strangely short, clocking in at an hour and eight minutes before the credits begin.
User Review - 6/10 by Jeff RIt was fun to visit in on some of those characters from the first one but I found this movie had rather little to do with SLC or punk rock. Could have been called Two Punks a Goth and a Cadillac.
User Review - 6/10 by Chris JAt a lightweight 67-minutes till credits roll, it gives the same energy & vibe as the original while seeing some of the original cast.. But man, what a slim running time.
User Review - 6/10 by Stephanie CMore of a spin-off movie, than a true sequel. Its good , but there was no Stevo, how can you have SLC punk without Stevo. It follows the offspring of Heroin Bob as he is going through his crisis so he decides to take a road trip and the long way around to SLC, when Rosses mom finds out he is going through a crisis she recruits the old SLC gang except for Stevo to find Heroin Bobs son. It all ends up in an anti climatic scene where Rosses mom realizes that he cant fill Heroin Bobs shoes. The only really great part is we found out where John the mod ended up, where Shawn the begger and Eddie end up, if you loved the first movie, you will find this movie lack luster but good, but it wont leave you with feeling with of awe like the first movie did. 3.0 out of 5
User Review - 6/10 by Christian DI'm disappointed, it could have been much better. And you really have to have seen the first movie to really appreciate what's there. Also it really feels like a made-for-TV movie.
User Review - 4/10 by Tim BThe first film was a high school favorite of mine. I watched it pretty much everyday along with Donnie Darko, Clerks and Mallrats. When I heard that the sequel was announced I was cautiously optimistic. Then one day I decided to watch it on Netflix. Just another unnecessary sequel. The story was uninteresting. Go watch the first film instead.
