Blu-ray.comBrian OrndorfAs much as I enjoy the image of Jane Seymour blasting away with a shotgun that's probably bigger than she is, the melodrama of the effort only manages to cripple the production.
Los Angeles TimesKatie WalshThe drought is ultimately presented as a man-made occurrence, wrapped up in regulations and red tape, rather than a troubling environmental reality. The reality is far more complicated than anything that can be neatly wrapped up within the conventions of genre filmmaking.
Movie NationRoger MooreSeymour gives the most interesting performance, and even it comes off like a pulled-punch.
User ReviewCheryl Tkept my attention from the beginning. well done movie. i would watch it again :)
User ReviewNJCA thin story which piggy-backs on an interesting environmental thread. The film tries to be a murder-mystery, heart-warming family feel-good, romance, thriller and numerous other genres all rolled into one. Despite the pull of Jane Seymour, the end result is disappointing and fails to address the real environmental issues of over-farming and water management in the central valley of the USA.
