| User ReviewBrandon SRun of the mill stalker/slasher horror film from the magical 80's that due to it's pacing is actually not that bad for as worthless as it looks. A pin-up girl that is famous at the moment is pestered by everyone she runs into due to the racy photos of her that appear in thrill magazine are everywhere. Soon people around her start to die and it becomes apparent that she has squires an unhealthy stalker. The neverending shots of people working out in the gym is truely a lost art that was perfected in the 80's. |
| User ReviewJason DIn Posed For Murder, a sexy nude magazine pin-up girl, Charlotte J. Helmkamp (Frankenhooker) becomes the prey of a vicious stalker who starts murdering people around her. Could it be her old sleazy boyfriend? How about her new sleazy boyfriend? Lots of guessing to be had, but unless you are a complete idiot, you'll figure out right away in this dull giallo inspired American slasher that shamefully misrepresents the fun and campy entertainment of horror in the 80's. Helmkamp is completely worthless in this film as the role of a chick everyone wants a piece of, especially after her insanely popular photo spread, which she doesn't want to repeat since she's trying to make the move to starring in cheesy nudie horror flicks. Hmm, was this role a message from her? Good usage of gore and nudity, however the entire movie is nearly ruined by Helmkamp's EXTREMELY unlikable character. It baffles me why so many people would want to be associated with such a dipshit character such as herself. I guess it's all in the titties. Also, the climactic conclusion suffers horribly by being incredibly hilarious (unintentionally), which ruins a film that try to play it straight and serious the past 70 minutes or so. Completely ridiculous film. |
