User ReviewAndrew SThis film should be gr8 as i have seen some of the other films
User ReviewConnor GVery good movie. The best one of the series. Unlike most of the Pokemon films I was fully gripped by this film. It had a great storyline and I just loved it.
User ReviewTysen DDIALGA, PALKIA, GIRATINA, AND ARCEUS!!! (OUO)
User Reviewwill eA lot of you probably love Pokemon and would really enjoy seeing this movie. Now, some of you might be thinking "Oh Pokemon! I hate Pokemon! Pikachu is the dumbest thing ever! etc. etc. etc." That' fine, but even so, this movie will be well worth the watch. First, let's focus on the story. Basically, this movie teaches you the dangers of betrayal and the meaning of friendship. Kind of sounds like the first Pokemon movie, doesn't it? Actually, the two movies are pretty similar, except this time, Ash and his friends go way back to shortly before Arceus is betrayed. However, he must find the culprit. Thus, the entire story is played out. Next, let's look at the details. The battles amongst the Legendary Pokemon are spectacular, really, the best out of all Pokemon movies! The place where Arceus is betrayed is based off of ancient Greece- a pretty good idea. On the other hand, the person who can "communicate" with the Legendary Pokemon is kind of weird. All in all, this is a pretty good movie, though I'd suggest watching the previous two movies in the trilogy before this one.
User ReviewThomas SIt was good. I thought it was a little confussing for little kids, but it was a good story line
User ReviewJosh BThis is my favorite of the recent batch of Pokemon movies, and one of my favorites overall. Arceus is portrayed rather well, as I don't mind his slightly un-masculine voice. That Sheena girl was weird though. She should see a psychologist.
User ReviewElena SThe film's plot felt a little broken, but nonetheless a great way to end the DP trilogy.
User ReviewChris SThe movie in which Ash and friends meet god haha. Actually, it was pretty decent. Definitely one of the better Pokemon movies I have seen after putting up with several awful ones before it.
| User ReviewKyle MAs it's the third and final act of the DP trilogy preceded with the two previous entries, it follows a general formula that a trilogy's final act usually follows when going full power, which usually resulted to be the best of the three, and this Pokémon trilogy of the DP series succeeded that attempt with what they do best to bring enjoyment and playing the right cards when doing so. | User ReviewSergio EAnother excellent adventure! "Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life" can be considered a build up of the previous two films. This being "Giratina and the Sky Warrior" and "The Rise of Darkrai." The previous conflicts in the other two films become readily apparent of why they happened as well as the lead up to this movie's story. The dimensions of Dialga (who controls time,) Palkia (who controls space,) and Giratina(who lives in the dimension known as the reverse world) were not suppose to collide (this leads to the conflicts of Dialga and Palkia in "The Rise of Darkrai" and Giratina and Dialga(although minor) in "Giratina and the Sky Warrior.") It was later found that the cause of all this was because of Arceus' awakening from his slumber to rejuvenate his strength. This caused the dimensions of Dialga and Palkia to collide. At the same time, while Dialga and Palkia were fighting, the reverse world was affected (as anything that happens in the Pokemon world has an effect on the reverse world.) Due to the "betrayal" in the past, Arceus was set to destroy humans for that" betrayal" as a form of justice. We follow Ash and his pals as they get sent to the past to correct a mistake that would eventually fix the present. The music was awesome, battles were epic, voices are..better, animation wasn't bad at all, and they released enough events for the movie to advertise it pretty well...I guess i know why they had over 2 million tickets pre-ordered there were only a couple of cons in this movie, but they really don't take out of the quality of the movie..Arceus sounds like a gay Asian guy, some of the CGI-hand-drawn combinations seemed a little awkward...but like i said, you don't really notice unless you look up close i HIGHLY recommend this movie for any pokémon fan, or anyone new to the series As Ash and friends arrive in Michina Town, the legendary Alpha Pokemon Arceus, stirred by the battle between Dialga and Palkia in Alamos Town, awakens to exact judgment on humanity for a betrayal it suffered in ancient times. |
