Cole Lawson, son of a rancher who is murdered by McQuade (an outlaw his father previously sent to prison), sets out to revenge his father's death. McQuade prepares for his wedding, but at the last moment Cole overcomes McQuade, prevents the marriage, and thus wins the girl for himself.
