User ReviewRobin WTHis movie is intensely bizzare but at the same time is roll on the ground hilarious. Much funnier when you think that this subject was hardly a social norm back when this film was made. They get away with a lot of stuff too like want to try it sideways when talking about having sex with an asian woman. All in all I highly reccomend it as a cult film that one may or may not enjoy.
User ReviewDave SSurprisingly sweet-natured until it's marred by an unusually abrupt and harsh ending that makes this hard to recommend. Somehow establishes a strong sense of community and counterculture without a lot of character development or dialogue. I would even argue this is sort of progressive; sure, it deals in some stereotypes, but so does a lot of contemporary gay cinema.
User ReviewTio BLow-budget gaysploitation obscurity that turns the '60s biker movie craze on its head (or gives it head?). Laden with stereotypes but sympathetic. The ending is awkwardly abrupt, but also sad and unforgettable.
User ReviewKonrad SVery interesting biker/transvestite fusion flick running a story about a six cross dressing rebels making their way to California, where they wish to get their hands on glamorous dresses, shoes and make-ups. They love to party with boys... while with the girls they get a bit shy :) I personally enjoyed it!
User ReviewSyvel EA little something out of one of those Drive-In collections that ::sorta:: lives up to its trailer, though the 'plot' is super thin (transvestite bikers travel cross country, hijinx ensue), then the film ends on a truly jaw-dropping WTF? note that I doubt anyone will see coming, as it makes virtually NO sense whatsoever. It's definitely worth a look, but don't expect anything beyond the light silliness you see in the trailer.
User ReviewJoel AA disastrously bad biker movie that is simply about a group of gay & transvestite biker gang on the way to a gay ball in Los Angeles. This is simply out of the world it's wacky beyond & a hilariously fun bad movie. The scenes just blow your mind how awful they are. Has an unforgettable ending of the gang members all hanging by neck of a tree...truly a trip!!
User ReviewBruce BThis film is part of the 42nd Street Vol 1 Collection. Also part of the 8 Movie Drive In Cult Classics Volume 3, This movie is far from what I expected. Filmed in 1971 on the California Coast about a gang of Gay Bikers making there way to a Transvestites ball in LA. The surprise of the Movie is Grizzly Adams (Dan Haggerty Playing a gay Biker. Great stuff in background like A&W Rootbeer Loves you. Radishes 2 bunches for 25 cents. 2 Stars is best this one gets from me.
