Corny, schmaltzy Christmas special takes place in the Big Apple on Christmas Eve. While shopping at landmark New York food establishments Perry draws numerous contrasts between Italians and his co-host who is clearly not Italian. Later on, Perry, his co-host, cast and crew are invited to the Long Island home of the Balducci family where they cook and enjoy a very Italian-American spaghetti dinner.
