PopcornworldDavid CorneliusIt's cheaper, it's dumber, it's obnoxious, it's boring. It's the Tommy Kirk one.
Antagony & EcstasyTim Brayton[Lacks] bounciness, the poppy energy that tends to make the utterly trivial nonsense in all of these movies seem like charmingly simplistic fun and not just careless trash.
User ReviewJosh Sthis movie is a reflection of how i wish the world could be, innocent teenage antics broken up with tacky song dance numbers.
User ReviewVictoria SOne of the most surreal and fun beach movies. Toomy Kirk, Martian!
User ReviewJanet R CIt is what is. It's a movie of the times meant to be nothing but pure innocent entertainment. It's not deep nor was it meant to be. The plot is simple but was meant to be. You know the end from the beginning but you were meant to be. I actually like to watch mindless entertainment from time to time as I get sooooo tired of movies with a "message". When I want a movie that I have to pay very close attention to and think, I watch them. Buuut from time to time, these aren't bad to go back to. It's an escape.
User ReviewAmber HI loved Annette during middle school!!! She inspired aspirations to be a beach singing tv/movie star.
User ReviewKevin M. WAn average "Beach" movie, nothing special except maybe Keaton's small role, he was in another "Beach" movie as well, though. It's somewhat fun, but somewhat boring as well. Overall, it's okay.
User ReviewJakki JYes, it's corny just like all the other beach party movies, so it may not be for everyone but I just can't resist! Best known for the scene with the song "Pajama Party", and although Frankie Avalon only makes a small cameo, Tommy Kirk is a lovable fill in. After all, this duo has starred in other Disney movies together so it's a familiar pairing.
User ReviewJennifer HThis was a silly and interesting movie. I kind of spaced off halfway through because it was getting a little bit boring for me. Not one of my favorites but Tommy Kirk was kind of cute in it..ha..
User ReviewAllen IHow did I not know how amazingly ridiculous 60s teen movies were?
