Chicago Tribune - 8/10 by Steve JohnsonRichard Tuggle's new film wants to be a realistic thriller, but it merely acts out kids' fantasies of heroism and adventure, with drugs and rock music thrown in for a contemporary twist.
Chicago Reader - 6/10 by Dave KehrNone of it is very convincing, thanks to Tuggle's shaky storytelling: on the one hand, he sets up his plot twists with such elephantine emphasis that the payoffs are invariably anticlimactic; on the other, he relies constantly and shamelessly on the most outre coincidence. Still, the action scenes do have a certain punch and vigor, and there are a few fresh, offbeat views of the City of Angels. Part of the point of the project seems to be to prove that Hall can “act” (as if his comic roles were something else), and he does move honorably if not remarkably through a mumbling Method performance.

User Review - 10/10 by Kevin SWhen his family starts to break up Iowa farmboy Darryl goes to L.A. to live with his brother. While on the plane he befriends a supposed actress. While at the airport picking up his bags he picks up the wrong one that has kelos of heroin in it. He goes and stays at his brothers and the next morning wakes up to find him and his girlfreind/wife dead. He now is on the run with both the bad guys and the police chasing him. He has the girl that he became friends with on the plane help him. Pretty decent cast including of course the main being Anthony Michael Hall. This is my first seeing him in a serious role besides being a geek in which he was in a few classics like Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, and Weird Science. And Jerrry Levine who I enjoyed as Styles in Teen Wolf is also in this movie. And lastly Meatloaf is in a few scenes as well. Not that big on him. This was a suprisingly good thriller that I really had fun watching.

User Review - 10/10 by Jeffrey MA very underrated film. Anthony Michael Hall is awesome as a man moviing to the city and gets entangled in a drug smuggling peration by taking the wrong bag at the airport. Jenny Wright and Jeff Kober are also awesome in this film.
