Tom Merry, a stagecoach driver, is in love with Vicky, daughter of Henderson, superintendent of the Eagle Mining Company. Henderson does not approve of his daughter's choice. Vicky overhears Jordan's plot and goes to warn Tom. As the stage speeds by Tom throws the money to Vicky, and then he arrives at the mining company's office just as the miners are about to wreck the place. After a few days Tom and Vicky meet and soon formulate a plan where love will find a way.
