Leave your thoughts about Officer Downe.
AV ClubMike D'AngeloOfficer Downe isn’t overly concerned about viewers exercising many brain cells.
IGNJosh LasserOfficer Downe has nearly every element it needs to be an over-the-top, gross-out, truly funny, deeply weird, comic book adaptation, and some driving music to boot. These disparate elements, however, never jell into a single whole.
We Got This CoveredMatt DonatoOfficer Downe is a vicious, violent bit of midnight madness that shoots first, and then shoots again for good measure. No need to ask questions.
Los Angeles Daily NewsBob StraussIf you thought Deadpool was perverse, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
ComingSoon.netTristan SinnsFans of campy, gory fight scenes loaded with absurdist humor should go ahead and get in line.
VarietyScott TobiasImagine Paul Verhoeven’s “RoboCop” stripped of its politics, its wit, its humanity, and its craft, and that only gets halfway down the bottom of the barrel scraped by Officer Downe, a hyper-aggressive and thoroughly repugnant piece of comic-book juvenalia.
Fresh FictionCourtney HowardOfficer Downe is brought to us by clown #6 in Slipknot. Maybe films directed by clowns #1-5 are far less misogynist. We'll never know.
Nerd ReportFred TopelThis is what a Troma movie might be like with misogyny and entitlement in place of vision and actually having something to say.
User ReviewM Xa perfect midnight movie, producer show it at midnight in theaters please!
User ReviewRich DRidiculous, over the top violence, gorgeous colors, an insanely WEIRD story. This movie is everything you want in a comic book adaptation. It is definitely recommended for fans of 2012's Dredd, or fun, weird action movies that are just as well-written as they are insane.
