It's a story about what it takes to be the best restaurant in the world, the sacrifices that are made and the pragmatic choices that are taken to maintain its success. Movie Reviews

Willamette Week - 9/10 by Sophia JuneThe film forgoes narration for a naturalistic style, putting viewers in the place they're most curious about -- the kitchen.
The Seattle Times - 8/10 by Soren AndersenDeschamps’ camera captures the emotional roller coaster Redzepi rode during that tumultuous time and shows his conflicted relationship with fame. He dismisses its importance but also clearly craves it. The end result is a revealing portrait of an artist wholly dedicated to his art.
The Playlist - 8/10 by Kimber MyersCrafted with exquisite care in the vein of its subject, though it occasionally feels overly precious (criticism that might be leveled at the restaurant itself by its detractors).
Cinemalogue.com - 8/10 by Todd JorgensonDespite some mouth-watering shots of the presumably delicious menu items, the approach combines a strange mix of ingredients that isn't for all tastes.
Georgia Straight - 8/10 by Ken EisnerUnfortunately, you learn more about his struggles, and his food, in multiple episodes of Anthony Bourdain's TV series No Reservations and The Mind of a Chef than you do in the 100 mostly flaccid minutes of Noma: My Perfect Storm.
The Stranger (Seattle, WA) - 6/10 by Charles MudedeThe film's cinematography does its best to capture the beauty of Redzepi's dishes. The images are so stunning, it's hard to believe they are objects you put in your mouth and destroy.
New York Times - 6/10 by Daniel M. GoldLess a documentary than a glittering souvenir, but it’s still a record of a legend.
Japan Times - 6/10 by Kaori ShojiRedzepi's creations explode with color and are highly imaginative. His dishes seem less like food and more like a series of art installations.
New Zealand Herald - 6/10 by Alex CaseyCombining fly-on-the-wall observations, talking heads and artistic cutaways, there is enough for everyone's tastes.
Slant Magazine - 5/10 by Chuck BowenToo much of Noma is composed of gorgeous pillow shots, which grow static and fussy, appearing to exist almost apart from the subject matter.
