Movie Reviews

Film Threat - 9/10 by Alan NgThe documentary may make you angry at times (or throughout), but that’s actually a good thing.
Variety - 7/10 by Owen GleibermanNo Safe Spaces is a smart, vital, urgent, and provocative exploration of that question.
Los Angeles Times - 3/10 by Michael RechtshaffenWhat might have been a pertinent, evenhanded examination of the notion of free speech on today’s college campuses wastes little time in exposing an overwhelmingly right-leaning bias in the disappointingly sensationalistic agitprop that is No Safe Spaces.
Movie Nation - 3/10 by Roger MooreIt’s just that mutual admirers Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager, two smug, smirking jerks having a conservative ‘free speech” circle smirk, aren’t the guys to host such a debate and give it a high-minded fair hearing in this most divisive of eras.
The A.V. Club - 0/10 by Vadim RizovNo Safe Spaces caters to its intended viewers’ least savory biases, making sure all student activists shown fit into particular categories—overweight, gay, or simply “angry and black”—that stoke the resentment of the target demographic.
User Review - 10/10 by RoccoCilleThis is an informative, entertaining and highly thought provoking look into the recent culture of censorship and intolerance to diversity of opinion that is a fundamental threat to western concepts of freedom of speech. Carolla in particular provides his usual acerbic wit and dry humour to really get to the nub of the issues and illustrate the contradictions from a future where somebody, somewhere being "offended" is the only requirement to determine what is acceptable. A must watch.
User Review - 10/10 by SeanGeneVery eye opening! You can tell the critics rated it low due to their personal beliefs
User Review - 10/10 by GanssleTip: When a documentary has a ratio of Audience rating to Staff rating like this, you can be pretty sure it's worth watching.
User Review - 10/10 by vanmeetThe negative reviews carry the importance of this documentary. Many reviews accuse the film of having a right leaning bias without asking themselves if there is anything in the film that is actually correct. If you do that, it will be a challenging film to watch. In my opinion, that is the point do documentaries. And this film does it well.
User Review - 10/10 by snorkissRegardless of your political leanings, this smart, funny and prescient documentary should be a warning to all those safe-spacers afraid of getting triggered - 10 stars
