User ReviewKathy DI thought it was a good scary movie. Some of it was a little "out there", but it was still good.
User ReviewD CPreqeal to reeker explaining were the creature in the first came from
User ReviewRobin DThis time the scenario is a standoff at the same diner between bank robbers and the police with each experiencing hallucinations and witnessing the deceasad. The film also reveals the history and origins of the Reeker, which is interesting. While not as good as the first film (certain parts just lack something), I'm all for a trilogy.
User Reviewdanny nQuite a good flick. I preferred the first one as in that the twist is not revealed till the end whereas this one explains it relatively early on. All in all it's nice and gory and goes to explain the origins of reeker really well.
User ReviewNadun 'last 15mins only, will make this extra-ord from Ordinary..!!
User ReviewPaul SThought this was a good film and the ending is so clever.
User ReviewRichard PI enjoyed it, it explains more about the reeker, where it comes from, its job and purpose. The films biggest fault is that its a bit to much like the original but its still a fun film.
User ReviewJonathan SSolid sequel to an equally solid Horror flick.
User ReviewJohn TI gotta give this one props for being both a prequel and a sequel to Reeker. How crazy is that? I didn't think this was worse than the first. However, after seeing The Reeker you know what's coming. The whole point/mood of the first one was trying to figure out what was happening. If you watched the first one you know what's going to happen, so you've just lost the whole tone of this one. I think if you watched this one without first watching the first, you'd like it better (but then like the first one less when you watched that one, so there's nothing you can do. You're in a lose lose situation). It was cool seeing the history of how the Reeker came to be, which is what the title suggest the movie is about, but to be honest the entire "Rise of the Reeker" is in the first 5 minutes of the movie. The rest is just another Reeker story. Which really wasn't bad. The acting was good. The story was great. It's just ... well it's like watching the Carnival of Souls remake. Or like watching The Six Sense for the second time. It's good, but you know what's gonna happen, so it's not quite as cool the second time around. *SPOILERS* It was kind of weird having a barrier/radius around you. It reminded me of a video game where you walk to the end of the world and there's nothing left. And the very very end the dead girl I believe is the one in the Reeker movie that the blind guy first sees. Craziness.
