User ReviewSpencer MI am not giving this film a 3 because it's good, rather that it is one of those rare movies that is just the right type of 'bad' to make it funny. Also, Samantha has some nice tatas in that forest scene.
User ReviewEnnis Brokeback LI saw this movie on ThisTV and I have to say it's not the best martial arts movie, if you'd even call it a martial arts movie. The fight scenes weren't good and very slow. It's basically about a ninja (though he never disguises himself as a ninja) who's traveling for a meeting and his motorcycle breaks down in a small town that is filled with members of the KKK, but some of these members are police officers as well. A black resident is killed by the members and the ninja is a witness. Basically he's the type that doesn't want to fight, but of course in the end he must. Not the greatest movie.
User ReviewTrey YThere are some movies that are downright awful with no redemptive qualities to speak of. Luckily, Ninja Vengeance is so bad that it's actually good. The overarching story is one involving racism and romance. Sadly, not a single aspect of the film is even remotely well realized. This does, however, work out for the best because the picture goes from considerate to ridiculous rather quickly. First the topic of racial discrimination starts to degenerate on account of how poorly it is handled. None of the characters can be considered memorable since the acting is abysmal, actual character development is nonexistent, and the script was most likely written by American third graders. Any of the behavior seen in the movie is either extremely unrealistic or absolutely confusing. Countless plot holes will spur infinite questions during viewing when the only remedy is to simply look the other way and go with the flow. The action sequences are laughably bad as is the screen play. In the end, Ninja Vengeance is as pitiful as its title, but when viewed amongst friends in a comedic atmosphere it can actually be quite enjoyable.
User ReviewKeith PAs seen on THIStv, available on antenna, the spoiler alert is the hero ain't no ninja & gets his ass kicked regularly. Also there are Klansmen, thus 1-D villains only meant to be disliked.
