Undaunted, the brother and sister reestablish their grandfather's school, leading to a final confrontation with the Japanese Kung Fu master. Jackie Chan plays a young thief who at first does not want to learn Kung-Fu, but finally realizes that he can no longer stand by and let the Japanese trample the rights of the Chinese people. He proves extremely adept at the martial arts, and carries the fight to its final conclusion.

| User ReviewDean MThis sequel of Fist of Fury seems to be the spirit of Bruce Lee lives on... Jackie Chan! Absolutely cool martial arts movie like the original one between the enemy of Chineses and Japaneses. Chan fights more tougher, deadlier and more vengeance-filled in his role. And I recognized a Chinese actress Nora Miao who appeared in Bruce Lee's original movie as his girlfriend, Yuan Le-erh, who survived and escape from Shanghai to Taiwan made her rights to keep her kung-fu school like her late master. And Chan also appeared in a small role as one of Chinese kung-fu students and double stunt of the villain Suzuki when he is kicked back through the large paper windows. |

Again there is a China-vs-Japan cliche (as in the original Fist of Fury) story, but the movie is more "viewable" than his older movies. Jackie could show his martial art more than in his older movies. The end was sad, but again it's similar to the original Fist of Fury - killing is bad and you have to pay for it. |

Jackie has three types of films, his older chop socky flicks when he was starting out, the modern ones he's famous for, and some newer stuff that isn't that good. This is in the first category, and its one of the lesser ones. There is a nice fight scene with a three-section-staff vs sai, but not a very effective film. The 2 hour running time really hurts it and I only watched this to complete all of Chan's films. |

Director Lo Wei Returns To Direct While Nora Miao Reprises Her Role From The First Film (Bruce Lee's Girlfriend), To Exact Vengeance On The Japanese. Here We See A Young Chan (Who Was Under Contract With Wei's Company At The Time), Take Up The Fight Against Another Japanese Martial Arts School Hell Bent On Destroying Chinese Academies In Taiwan. Only Thing Is Chan Is No Match At The Start As He Has No Martial Arts Skills, So As A Bonus We Get To See Him Go Through A Gruelling Training Before He Heads Out To Dispense Justice. This Film Might Have Flopped At The Asian Box Office, But Is An Enjoyable Classic. This Is A Chance To See Chan In His Formative Years, With A Tougher, Bloodier & More Vengeance Filled Role. Unfortunately The Film's Plot Is A Bit To Similar Of It's Predecessor. |

| User ReviewRyan GHeavy on the story, which isn't very good. The few fight scenes that are shown aren't very impressive and really the film just crawls by. The final fight scene has Jackie wielding nunchaku, which I've never seen him do previously, and he uses them as well as you'd expect. The very end of the movie is awful, shameful, and bad. Best to skip this one. |
