NYC Movie GuruAvi OfferA well-acted, intelligent and riveting thrill ride that will take your breath away. It's one of the most powerful gangster films in years.
Capital Times (Madison, WI)Rob ThomasYoon Jong-bin's film has the epic sweep and detail of a gangster movie like "Scarface," but none of the mythologizing.
Examiner.comChris SawinSlow yet powerful, Nameless Gangster pales in comparison to New World but deserves some credit for making you feel like such a big part of this law breaking family.
User ReviewSanghee Pits crazy how they made the movie seem like it was actually filmed in the 80~90s good move definitely watch it

User ReviewPavandeep SGritty and fantastic film, starts out slow but swirls through in such stunning fashion. The ending was less than desired but overall, an enjoyable work.
User ReviewGautham RChoi Min Sik always amazes me. This is no exception. It's just a bit more restrained than other flicks. But I enjoyed flipflopping between sympathy and disgust for his character. All the acting for that matter was excellent in this movie. And it was an educational cool experience
User ReviewOrlok WThe gangster film genre, especially period pieces, is one that is always threatening to go stale. So it's good to see that people can still infuse it with fresh stories and interesting characters. Choi Min-Sik proves that his turns in Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, and I Saw The Devil are not flukes, and that he is indeed one of the finest actors working today.
