When back Ramu runs away from his uncle and lands up in the city with his neighbor (played by P Jayachandran). As fate would have it, Ramu and Gowri meet again. Good conduct and intelligence of Ramu gets noticed and he is asked by a lawyer to stay in the house, where Gowri is a maid. The triangle love story leads to a sad ending.
