If you find yourself in need of a fantasy world in which to immerse yourself, this should be the first film you watch. It is very amazing. ????????????????????????????

User Review - 10/10 by Ryan PArrowstorm Entertainment's Mythica "A Quest for heroes" the first of a projected five film series, is not a multi-million dollar fantasy but Arrowstorm's team has certainly succeeded in creating a film with the look and feel of a much bigger budget production. For me, in this new 'golden age' of film where anyone can pick up a camera and call themselves a filmmaker, it's the story and how it's told on screen that's important, and Mythica, is a good story, well told; and very much worth watching. The Film's central relationship between Teela (Nicola Posener) and Marek (Melanie Stone) refreshingly, allows the two female characters to interact as... well.. adult humans, rather than the screechy, helpless eye-candy girls that so often bedeck movie and tv screens of all sizes. While the action scenes are directed with skill, where director Anne Black really shines is in the quiet interchanges between actors. There's an exchange between Marek and the gibbeted Thane (Adam Johnson) where the two's expressed desire for a life of dignity shows the true heart of the story, which the cast returns to both with subtlety and power throughout the film. Mythica, represents a trend for small budget producers to create films in the fantasy genre that entertain at a level before only possible for deep pocketed productions to achieve. I'm looking forward to seeing what Arrowstorm comes up with next.
