Lu Jie is having coffee with her desperate friend Sang Qi, who believes her husband is cheating on her. At the same time at a hotel across the road from the coffee shop, Lu Jie sees her husband businessman Qiao Yongzhao entering the hotel with a young girl. A few hours later the girl Sun Xiaomin is run over and killed on a nearby motorway by a group of joyriding rich kids but when the police arrive they notice that Sun had been attacked before she was run over.... | User ReviewNicki MDidn't really know what to expect with this one. At first it seemed like the story was about a girl who is hit by a car and killed by an irresponsible driver, then it switches to being a friendship film about two mums with young children, then it turns really dark and disturbing as you very slowly realise the connection between the women and the young girl who died. Really well done and not easy to watch in places. |
