Blu-ray.comBrian OrndorfIt's all very tired and uninteresting, but worse, it's depressingly predictable, as Young brings nothing new to the material, afraid to challenge clichés with a fresh POV on matters of the heart.
Common Sense MediaS. Jhoanna RobledoPredictable romcom has strong language, drinking, sex.
Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckThe film earns a few laughs thanks to the energetic efforts of its hardworking cast, but they’re decidedly of the hit-or-miss variety.
New York PostSara StewartThis cynical rom-com subgenre has been done to death.
VarietyJustin ChangA dismally stupid and sexist romantic comedy.
The DissolveDavid EhrlichYoung and Bamberger’s insultingly trite bro comedy is too content with the stink of its own reprocessed garbage to serve as anything more than a reminder that some actors should be in better films, and some producers shouldn’t be involved in any of them.
User ReviewPaul FI very much enjoyed this movie. I saw it with my wife and we found ourselves looking at each other as many of the references about what happens to married couples in their relationships were dead on. We also enjoyed that there was an actual story to the movie. It is the perfect movie for a "date night" with your spouse. You will laugh, look at each other with smirks and probably discuss afterwords as your wife will want to know when you are going to change your ways. Enjoy
User ReviewDerek MI thought this movie was a fun romantic comedy with some good laughs and a great performance by Michael Rappaport, who I didn't expect an over-the-top comedic performance, but it happened. Definitely worth seeing with the girlfriend or wife.
User ReviewKimberly Agood feel good movie. Wish I could find the soundtrack. There is a good song in the movie I want. Loved it.
User ReviewburiedpianoWent to see this on a first Jdate in New York City the other night. I laughed so much. My date liked it too. I thought there were so many funny lines and very well written. Real life scenarios. Ronnie the Limo Driver was great. Michael Rappaport killed it. I will for sure see this again. Go see this movie. It is awesome. The date?...now that man...IS A LOSER. No seconds there.
