Circumstances however lead him to take up his father's profession of painting statues. Now in his late 20s he bumps into Rekha, another passionate football player who has been married off at a young age. She however continues to play street Football with village children, coaching and encouraging them to "play the sport". Goli joins her team and starts living his dreams again. The film weaves around complex relationships that develop between Goli and Rekha and his and her family. The common passion and love for the sport keeps them going. Will Goli be able to play with the pressures of life that develop around him forms the climax of the film.
