| User ReviewAngela SSaw this a year ago. _Lily's France class watched it at school and she recommended it to us. We fell in love with these characters. This and The 2nd movie "My mother Castle" were my Christmas gift from Paul last year. Wonderful heartwarming movies. MUST SEE!! |
| User ReviewJulian HFew films combine eyes-open realism with sentimentality as well as My Father's Glory. This might be understood better as a "man's movie" in the best way, in the same way that 'Field of Dreams' is really about the queer relationships fathers have with their sons. It's incredibly moving and a loving portrayal of family life in all its complications. I cannot recommend this movie highly enough. |
