ScreenAnarchy - 6/10 by Josh Ralske...when the entire production is clearly infused with such goodwill, it does add to its emotional impact.
User Review - 10/10 by Private UEven though I'm a guy, I can admit that this is one of those movies that will make you cry. The title music and the song "Le chale" is an outstanding song..one that you can never get tired of playing on your Guitar. Amitabh Varma is at his best at writing poetry and Vivek Phillip's music goes straight to the heart. Sanjay Suri impressed me in his cameo role in "Dhoop", but he has acted out of his skin in this movie and deserves an award for his acting. His poignancy and facial expressions reminded me of Raj Kapoor at times. Great movie about a very serious issue. The soundtrack is superb as well. Other than the Le Chale song, there are some instrumental versions too, which are great. Other actors acted well too. I give it 10/10
User Review - 10/10 by Chris Pbrave attempt at showcasing something like this on indian screens!! kudos to everyone involved esp sanjay suri, juhi chawla n purab kohli for their fabulous acts!!
User Review - 10/10 by James BIf you have a gram of humanity in your being, you need to see this film. On a budget that would be considered Draconian even by Indian standards, independent director Onir has crafted one of the finest movies ever to come out of India. Sanjay Suri's portrayal of a champion swimmer struck by tragedy at the peak of his career is nothing short of sparkling and the "supporting" roles of Juhi Chawla, Purab Kholi, Victor Bannerjee and Lillette Dubey would all stand as award worthy on their own. If you only see one Indian movie in your lifetime, My Brother Nikhil should be on the short list to fill that spot.
User Review - 10/10 by Prateek CBeautiful, heartfelt and gut wrenching in parts. Though story is set in late 1980s it gives you an insight in the minds of ignorant and how discrimination propagates. It's a must watch
User Review - 8/10 by Rajarshi Cpretty good movie... they focussed a lot on the emotional aspect of the movie and i feel the contrast "before and after" has been overdone a bit, but then, it does touch your heart... a real masterstroke was not revealing how the protagonist got the virus... concentrates on the main issue... the treatment of +ve ppl by society... and yes, LOVELY soundtrack... love the song "Le Chale"... perfect...
User Review - 8/10 by Chrisinno Iextraordinary... not too much singing but very nice the soundtrack. film india yang ga terlalu banyak pake nyanyi-nyani, justru ost nya oke bgt!
User Review - 8/10 by Tim BTouching and thought provoking; EVERYONE should see this movie. Just remember to bring the tissues.
User Review - 8/10 by Martijn WThe Indian 'Philadelphia'? Unusual and for our standards maybe not that controversial but for Bollywood it certainly is and was. The Bollywood touch is present in the movie but did not irritate me at all. The end is very sentimental but I am always in for a real tearjerker and this movie certainly is....
