Leave your thoughts about Mr. Mom.
Common Sense MediaS. Jhoanna RobledoClassic '80s comedy with some minor hanky panky.
Video-Reviewmaster.comSteve CrumNow pretty sexist comedy with Michael Keaton assuming household duties.
Antagony & EcstasyTim BraytonA routine comic plot whipped up into an amenable time-waster by [writer John] Hughes and director Stan Dragoti with maximum efficiency and little imagination.
Under the RadarAustin TrunickIt won't find its way onto any top ten lists of [John Hughes'] work, but it's far more enjoyable than the bulk of his '90s credits, and is anchored by a fun performance from a baby-faced Michael Keaton.
Reel Film ReviewsDavid Nusair...benefits substantially from Keaton's almost unreasonably charismatic turn as the title character...
Miami HeraldBill CosfordMr. Mom would be funny if it had jokes. That's not so self-evident as it sounds, because it's not a claim that every failed comedy can make. The actors here, Mr. Keaton and Teri Garr, are likable and bright, and the situation has possibilities. Very little is made of them, except for such predictable developments as Jack's going to the supermarket with the kids in tow, and knocking over soup cans and fruit.

User ReviewAli PI love this movie.....watched it then and still watch it now
User ReviewTimeen *Michael Keaton is very funny...and realistic in this back in the day movie...he loses his job and then his wife goes out to work and he is left to handle the kids and the house....day to day antics, cleaning up, changing pampers, and going shopping turn out to be a very good movie.
User ReviewMissy Mvery funny, laughed at just about everything.
