User ReviewAlex rFor fans of the Classic zomedy Return of the Living Dead is a stunning, well crafted documentary that recounts the making of the classic film. Here, we get the insight of the cast and crew who offer fans some informative and great interviews. The film has been an iconic twist on the zombie genre, and its legacy has reinvented the genre as well. More Brains, is a must watch for fans of the film, and personally as a fan, I thought that this offered many great stories from those involved, and fans will surely enjoy the plateau of information and memories that those involved share is wonderful. This is a highly engaging documentary that chronicles the making of the film from the earliest of the ideas to the finished film. Although not as in depth as other works such as Crystal Lake Memories and Never Sleep Again, More Brains more than satisfies and it's a documentary done as tribute to the film's legacy. In terms of a documentary, More Brains definitely goes in depth into its subject and it's a film that really does manage to capture the making of a classic. With great interviews and behind the scenes footage, More Brains is a must watch for fans of the film and any genre fan in general. If you're looking for a great making of documentary, then this is one of the finest examples that have been made. There are a few minor issues here and there, but what More Brain accomplishes is an entertaining film that is sure to delight fans.
User ReviewAnatoly SVery fun documentary and a great look back at the horror classic. Many cast and crew members show up and give great details about being on the set, and we see many shots and behind the scenes photos. There are a lot of laughs and interesting details. The background sets are great and the editing is well done. They did a great job with it, but it's better if you've at least seen the original film. They don't bring up the sequels, but the DVD does include 2 bonus mini-docs for RotLD 2 and 3.
User ReviewBill BThis documentary continues the great trend of late to give an in-depth look at certain genres or franchises that you'd never expect to get the deluxe treatment, and I'm happy to have such a thorough look at this series, even if the later installments are rather dreadful. If you're a fan of the first couple films, you must watch this, it's a helluva lot of fun. Recommended.
User ReviewPatrick CA nice look back at the 1st 3 ROTLD movies. Not as good as the F13 or NOES documentaries by the same filmmakers, but enjoyable.
