Leave your thoughts about More American Graffiti.
Austin ChronicleMargaret MoserThe split screen is distracting enough, but it is the choppy scenes representing the passage of time that make the story hard to follow. More American Graffiti is not without its moments, though, and Cindy Williams' moment of realization -- when she defies authority to lead a police wagon full of women in singing Baby Love-- is a joy.
The DissolveNathan RabinIt’s ambitious, drug-infused, psychedelic, and fractured in strange and interesting ways.
NewsweekDavid AnsenA coming-of-age picture that never arrives.
The New York TimesJanet MaslinMore American Graffiti is grotesquely misconceived, so much so that it nearly eradicates fond memories of the original.
User ReviewCharlie MA good sequel that deserves more credits !
User ReviewTeah SI think I was the only person in the audience at the theater who got this film, probably because I had already seen American Graffiti 15 times or more and I was actually looking forward to this sequel.
User ReviewKyle Msequel not as good as first, but 5 stars because it's a feel good movie from my childhood.
User ReviewMatthew MHarrison Ford made a cameo as a police officer and he actually some lines even though he was uncredited. The main problem with the film was how it took serious issues and did not take them as serious as they should have been. Also the split screen sometimes got hard to follow. I did however like the aspect ratio differences and the character development was good.
User ReviewAJ ZA underratted gem, & in my opinion, a good sequal.
User ReviewKaty DI prefer this to the original. It really gets down to what it was really like in the 60s. You'll find out what happens to all the characters from American Graffiti, and who doesn't love Toad?
