User Review - 8/10 by Drew HActing was great and narrative was compelling. Watched this as a kid for the first time and couldn't get past the fact that I was seeing a Play School host in her birthday suit. My childhood ended that day.
User Review - 8/10 by Cat AI really liked this. New found respect gained for Noni Hazelhurst. Worth a look.
User Review - 6/10 by Timm SPeriod Piece Of Cinema Depicting The Demoralising Difficulties Association With Drug Addiction. The Fashions May Gave Moved On But The Issues, Love, Trust, Betrayal & Uncertainty Certainly Still Ring Very True.
User Review - 6/10 by Ilsa LThe 80's setting was a flashback and big cringe. I would have to say the acting was pretty good, but it's a very slight film about a single mum and the men in her life. Nothing overly dramatic happens, it is more emotion driven than exciting. Interesting to see Chrissy Amphlett, though.
User Review - 6/10 by Louise FA good portrayal of the book although it did gloss over a lot of the detail. Disappointing to learn that most of it was filmed in Sydney....
User Review - 6/10 by Helena MYeah,..this was good. - a good Aussie flick, set in Melbourne in the early 80's with a young, beautiful Noni Hazlehurst. Her daughter in the film is adorable to watch and steals the scenes she's in. It's based on a book and in the film the music group 'The Divinyls' are part of the story which was great and interesting for history's sake to watch. It's a bit choppy, the editing, but definitely worth seeing if you wanna see old Australian cinema. :-)
User Review - 2/10 by Ken LDon't waste your time seeing it. It is one of the most boring and dreary films I have seen. All the characters are unlikable and unbelievable.
