| Anime UK NewsDavid HoganIt's grim without being so for the sake of it (though I wouldn't watch it if you're looking for an uplifting tale...) and the animation, music and voicework are all top notch. |
| User ReviewMayank AHadn't watched a Gundam show for a decade so when I saw this movie around decide to give it a shot, it didn't disappoint. While the story is not as good as the original series, the movie's plot really builds up enough tension to warrant a series based on it, got enough heroism & personal tragedy's going for itself. The anime is good, we have great mech battle sequences, excellent music and voice-over, the story arch pretty easy to get into. Still its strictly for the fans of the series. |
