The Minerva docks at the ZAFT base and they are met by Chairman Durandal. He tells Athrun, Shinn and other crew members, causing Shinn to think about the past and he met a beautiful girl who falls into the ocean. Diving in to rescue her, he must then wait for them to be rescued. The Alliance Forces gather, with also the Orb Allies who launch an attack on ZAFT.
